Pecahan berpenyebut 10 boleh ditulis sebagai perpuluhan dengan satu digit selepas titik.

Persepuluh = 十分之几
分母是 10 的分数，可以写成小数，小数点后面只有一位数字。6/10 就是 10 份里的 6 份，写成 0.6。小数点后面的第一位叫十分位。
例子：9/10 = 0.9，1/10 = 0.1。
注意：小数点前面要写 0，表示不到一个整体。

Persepuluh = Tenths
A fraction with 10 as the denominator can be written as a decimal with one digit after the point. 6/10 means 6 out of 10 equal parts, written 0.6. The first place after the point is the tenths place.
Example: 9/10 = 0.9 and 1/10 = 0.1.
Watch out: Write a 0 before the point to show the amount is less than one whole.

Sebut perpuluhan

0.6 disebut sifar perpuluhan enam. Titik memisahkan sa daripada persepuluh.

Sebut perpuluhan = 读小数
0.6 读作 sifar perpuluhan enam。小数点读作 perpuluhan。点的左边是个位，右边是十分位。小数点后面的数字要一个一个读出来，不要把它当成整数来读。
例子：0.4 读作 sifar perpuluhan empat，表示 4/10。
注意：小数点后面的数字要单独读，不要把 0.6 读成“六十”。

Sebut perpuluhan = Say the decimal
In Malay, 0.6 is read as sifar perpuluhan enam. The point is read as perpuluhan, and it separates the ones from the tenths. Say the digit on the left, then perpuluhan, then the digit on the right.
Example: 0.4 is read sifar perpuluhan empat, which means 4/10.
Watch out: Read the digit after the point on its own; do not turn 0.6 into a word like sixty.

Gunakan garis nombor

Setiap langkah satu persepuluh pada garis nombor bergerak 0.1 dari 0 hingga 1.

Garis nombor perpuluhan = 小数数线
把 0 到 1 之间平均分成 10 格，每一格是 0.1。从 0 开始每跳一格加 0.1：0.1、0.2、0.3，一直到 0.9。跳满 10 格就到 1。
例子：从 0 跳 7 格到 0.7，再跳 3 格到 1，因为 0.7 + 0.3 = 1。
注意：0.9 后面的下一格是 1，不是 0.10。

Garis nombor perpuluhan = Decimal number line
The space from 0 to 1 is split into 10 equal steps, and each step is 0.1. Every jump from 0 adds one tenth: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and so on. After 10 jumps you reach 1.
Example: Jump 7 steps from 0 to reach 0.7, then 3 more to reach 1, because 0.7 + 0.3 = 1.
Watch out: The step after 0.9 is 1, not 0.10.
