Tambah dua nombor dahulu, kemudian tambah nombor ketiga kepada jumlah sementara.

125 + 200 = 325 · + 74 = 399

Tambah dua dahulu = 先加两个
三个数相加，可以先加其中两个，得到暂时的和，再加第三个数。125 + 200 = 325，再 325 + 74 = 399。
例子：先算 210 + 130 = 340，再算 340 + 45 = 385。
注意：暂时的和要写下来，别只在脑里记着。

With three numbers, add two of them first to get a running total, then add the third. 125 + 200 = 325, then 325 + 74 = 399.
Example: For 210, 130 and 45: first 210 + 130 = 340, then 340 + 45 = 385.
Watch out: Write the running total down instead of holding it in your head.

Langkah 2

Cari pasangan mesra

Pilih dua nombor yang mudah membentuk puluh atau ratus penuh. Dalam bentuk lazim, susun ketiga-tiga nombor mengikut nilai tempat. Contoh: 128 + 238 + 103: sa 8 + 8 + 3 = 19, tulis 9 dan kumpul semula 1 puluh.

Pasangan mesra = 好朋友数
找两个加起来是整十或整百的数先加，会比较容易。175 + 25 = 200，因为个位 5 + 5 = 10，刚好凑整。
例子：63、180、37：先算 63 + 37 = 100，再 100 + 180 = 280。
注意：好朋友数要看个位能不能凑成 10，例如 5 配 5、3 配 7。

Pasangan mesra = Friendly pairs
Look for two numbers that make a whole ten or hundred, and add them first. 175 + 25 = 200, because the ones 5 + 5 = 10.
Example: For 63, 180 and 37: first 63 + 37 = 100, then 100 + 180 = 280.
Watch out: Check whether the ones digits make 10, like 5 with 5 or 3 with 7.

Semak semua penambah

Pastikan ketiga-tiga nombor telah digunakan sekali sahaja.

✓ nombor 1 · ✓ nombor 2 · ✓ nombor 3

Semak semua penambah = 检查每个加数
三个数都要用上，而且每个只能用一次。算完后在每个加数旁打勾，确定没有漏掉或重复。
例子：150 + 26 + 200 = 376，三个数都打了勾。
注意：先加好朋友数之后，最容易忘了第三个数。

All three numbers must be used, and each only once. After adding, tick each number to be sure none is missing or counted twice.
Example: 150 + 26 + 200 = 376, with all three numbers ticked.
Watch out: After adding a friendly pair, it is easy to forget the third number.
