Apabila jumlah sa ialah 10 atau lebih, tukarkan 10 sa kepada 1 puluh.

Kumpul semula sa = 个位进位
个位相加满 10，就把 10 个一换成 1 个十，送到十位。14 个一 = 1 个十 + 4 个一，个位写 4，十位多加 1。
例子：147 + 238：7 + 8 = 15，写 5 进 1；4 + 3 + 1 = 8；1 + 2 = 3，得 385。
注意：进上去的 1 要写在十位上方，不然很容易忘记加。

Kumpul semula sa = Regroup the ones
When the ones make 10 or more, trade 10 ones for 1 ten. 14 ones = 1 ten + 4 ones, so write 4 and carry 1.
Example: 147 + 238: 7 + 8 = 15, write 5 and carry 1; 4 + 3 + 1 = 8; 1 + 2 = 3; the answer is 385.
Watch out: Write the carried 1 above the tens so you do not forget it.

Kumpul semula puluh

Apabila jumlah puluh ialah 10 atau lebih, tukarkan 10 puluh kepada 1 ratus.

12 puluh = 1 ratus + 2 puluh

Kumpul semula puluh = 十位进位
十位相加满 10，就把 10 个十换成 1 个百，送到百位。12 个十 = 1 个百 + 2 个十，十位写 2，百位多加 1。
例子：261 + 172：1 + 2 = 3；6 + 7 = 13，写 3 进 1；2 + 1 + 1 = 4，得 433。
注意：十位进上去的 1 代表一个百，不是一个十。

When the tens make 10 or more, trade 10 tens for 1 hundred. 12 tens = 1 hundred + 2 tens, so write 2 and carry 1.
Example: 261 + 172: 1 + 2 = 3; 6 + 7 = 13, write 3 and carry 1; 2 + 1 + 1 = 4; the answer is 433.
Watch out: The carry from the tens is worth one hundred, not one ten.

Kira dari kanan

Mulakan dengan sa, kemudian puluh dan akhirnya ratus. Cara lain: 384 + 199 = 383 + 200 = 583. Pada abakus, apabila lajur sa penuh, gunakan kawan besar 10.

Kira dari kanan = 从右边算起
进位加法一定要从个位开始，再到十位，最后百位，每一步把进上去的数记下来。因为右边的进位会改变左边那一列。
例子：168 + 275：8 + 5 = 13 进 1；6 + 7 + 1 = 14 进 1；1 + 2 + 1 = 4，得 443。
注意：如果先算百位，后面的进位就来不及加。

Kira dari kanan = Work from the right
Always start with the ones, then the tens, then the hundreds, writing down each carry. A carry from the right changes the column on its left.
Example: 168 + 275: 8 + 5 = 13, carry 1; 6 + 7 + 1 = 14, carry 1; 1 + 2 + 1 = 4; the answer is 443.
Watch out: Starting from the hundreds leaves no room to add the carries later.
