Pola Nombor

Jika nombor bertambah dengan nilai yang sama, pola itu menaik. Contohnya 145, 150, 155 ialah pola nombor menaik lima-lima.

Jika nombor bertambah dengan nilai yang sama, pola itu menaik. Contohnya 145, 150, 155 ialah pola nombor menaik lima-lima.

145, 150, 155, 160

Pola menaik = 递增模式
数一直增加同样的数，就是递增模式。145、150、155、160 每次都加 5，所以是递增模式。
例子：230、240、250、260，每次加 10：230 + 10 = 240。
注意：每次加的数不一样，例如 1、2、4、7，就不是这种固定的模式。

Pola menaik = Increasing pattern
If the numbers grow by the same amount each time, the pattern is increasing. 145, 150, 155, 160 grows by 5 each step.
Example: 230, 240, 250, 260 grows by 10, because 230 + 10 = 240.
Watch out: Numbers that grow by different amounts, like 1, 2, 4, 7, do not form this kind of pattern.

Pola menurun

Jika nombor berkurang dengan nilai yang sama, pola itu menurun. Contohnya 620, 610, 600 ialah pola nombor menurun sepuluh-sepuluh.

620, 610, 600, 590

Pola menurun = 递减模式
数一直减少同样的数，就是递减模式。620、610、600、590 每次都减 10。找模式时，先用前两个数求出每次减少多少，再检查后面的数是不是都照这个规律变化。
例子：480、470、460，每次减 10：480 − 10 = 470。
注意：从 600 减 10 时百位也会变，得到 590，不是 690。

Pola menurun = Decreasing pattern
If the numbers shrink by the same amount each time, the pattern is decreasing. 620, 610, 600, 590 goes down by 10 each step.
Example: 480, 470, 460 goes down by 10, because 480 − 10 = 470.
Watch out: From 600, taking 10 changes the hundreds digit too, giving 590.

Semak setiap langkah

Perbezaan antara setiap pasangan nombor bersebelahan mesti sama.

+5 · +5 · +5

Semak setiap langkah = 检查每一步
要确定是不是模式，每一对相邻的数都要算差。145、150、155、160 每一步都是 +5，每一步都一样才算。
例子：312、315、318：315 − 312 = 3，318 − 315 = 3，间隔都是 3。
注意：只检查第一对不够，后面可能突然换了间隔。

Semak setiap langkah = Check every step
To be sure there is a pattern, find the difference between every pair of neighbours. 145 to 150 is +5, 150 to 155 is +5 and 155 to 160 is +5.
Example: 312, 315, 318: 315 − 312 = 3 and 318 − 315 = 3, so every step is 3.
Watch out: Checking only the first pair is not enough; the jump might change later.

Watch out: Going below a whole hundred means borrowing from the hundreds, so work carefully.
