Rooms in a house
A house has different rooms for sleeping, cooking, eating and spending time together.
Name the rooms
A bedroom is for sleeping, a bathroom is for washing, a kitchen is for cooking, a dining room is for meals, and a living room is for relaxing together. A hall connects parts of a house. We go up the stairs, and a cellar is under the house.
Example: We cook in the kitchen and eat in the dining room.
根据房间的用途辨认名称。例子：sleep 对应 bedroom，cook 对应 kitchen。注意：dining room 是用餐处，不是烹煮食物的地方。

Match a room to its purpose
Look for the action in a sentence. The action gives a clue to the room where it usually happens.
Example: Dad makes soup. He is in the kitchen.
这里要理解用动作线索推断合适的房间。例子：makes soup 指向 kitchen，takes a bath 指向 bathroom。注意：有些活动可在多处进行，要选择句子中最自然的地点。
Fikirkan cara untuk menggunakan petunjuk tindakan untuk menentukan ruang rumah yang paling sesuai. Contoh: makes soup menunjukkan kitchen dan takes a bath menunjukkan bathroom. Awas: sesetengah aktiviti boleh berlaku di tempat lain tetapi pilih ruang yang paling munasabah.

要根据 washing hands 找最自然的房间。例子：洗手通常在 bathroom 的洗手盆进行。注意：不要只因 cellar 也在屋内就选择它。

There is one; there are many
Use There is before one person or thing. Use There are before two or more people or things. There is can be short: There’s.
Example: There’s a table. There are four chairs.
要按照名词数量选择 is 或 are。例子：one bed 用 There is，three beds 用 There are。注意：先看名词是单数还是复数，再选动词。

Describe a simple house map
Draw four labelled rooms. Add one object to one room and several objects to another, then describe both.
Example: There is a sofa in the living room. There are three cups in the kitchen.
这一屏练习把房间标签、物品和数量组合成描述。例子：在 living room 画一张 sofa 并写 There is。注意：图上的数量必须和句子中的单复数一致。

Room, purpose and number
Use the activity to identify a room. Then use There is for one and There are for more than one.
Example: We sleep in a bedroom. There are two beds in this bedroom.
总结房间用途和 there is/are 数量规则。例子：bedroom 用来睡觉，两张床配 There are。注意：不要把房间用途和物品数量写成互不相关的句子。
